Portslade by Sea

Welcome to the web site of the Parish Churches of St Nicolas and St Andrew, Portslade,
in Deanery of Hove and the Diocese of Chichester.

The Parish is situated along the western boundary of the City of Brighton & Hove.
Visitors are welcomed to our Parish web site as they are to all our Services at both Churches.

The Eucharist is celebrated daily in St Nicolas and at various other times at St Andrew's.
Children are welcome at all services.

This month’s
Parish Diary gives service times and details of Holy Days that fall on a weekday
and news of forthcoming events within the Parish.

St Nicolas Church South Street, in Portslade's
'Old Village', is one of the oldest in the City, and has the distinction of being the only church that has been consistently used for worship throughout its 850 year history. St Nicolas Church, can be found by turning north at the Southern Cross traffic lights on the A270 and up Locks Hill to South Street. St Nicolas has a car park at the Parish Centre next to the Church.

St Andrew Church Church Road, Portslade by Sea, is directly south of the Southern Cross traffic lights on the A270 and down Trafalgar Road to Church Road. At St Andrews there is ample parking in the streets that adjoin Church Road. For direct bus routes to both Churches, see the Brighton & Hove Bus Company's web site on the Parish’s Links page.
