Arrangements for these can be made by appointment with the Vicar. Please

CONFESSIONS OR SPIRITUAL ADVICE
A priest is usually available in St Nicolas Church on Wednesday at 11.00
a.m. and Saturday at 10.00 a.m. or by appointment
CHILDREN AND THE CHURCH
Children of any age are encouraged to worship with their parents and
other adults. Children are welcome at all services in our Churches,
especially at the
9.30 a.m. Eucharist at St Nicolas on Sunday and
11.15 a.m. Eucharist at St Andrew on Sunday.
PRAYER PYRAMID
To ask for the prayer support of the Prayer Pyramid, or to request
information about joining this group of those who give the support of
their prayers to those who ask, contact Frances Duncan.
Request for prayers of support may also be left in St Nicolas Church on
the Intercessions Board
SERVERS
Any men or boys who would like to serve at the altar, should in the
first place contact the Vicar
SINGERS & MUSICIANS
Anyone who would like to sing in the choir or use their musical skills
in church please contact the Vicar

CHRISTIAN GIVING
The Parish is committed to Planned Giving. Members are asked to plan
their giving according to their resources and to use Offering Envelopes.
If you pay Income Tax please sign a Gift Aid form so that the Parish can
reclaim the Tax you have paid at no cost to you.
Details about Planned Giving and Gift Aid (Donations) are on a leaflet
in Church
or can be obtained from Mrs. V. Locke. at St Nicolas
ELECTORAL ROLL
The names of all Church members should be on the Church Electoral Roll.
Application forms are available in Church or contact the Electoral Roll
Officer or the Vicar
LARGE PRINT HYMN BOOKS
A few large print hymn books are available in both our churches. If
using one would be helpful to please ask the sidesperson who will know
where they are kept
CHURCH FLOWERS
Contributions or offers of help for St Nicolas to Miss D.Colthorpe and
for
St Andrew's to Mrs S. Collier.
PARISH MAGAZINE
The Parish Magazine is published monthly and material for the next issue
of the "St Nicolas &
St Andrew Parish Magazine" should be given to the Editor (Vicar) not
later than the 15th of the month.
New readers are welcome. The Magazine can be delivered anywhere in the
Parish for £2.40 a year or posted elsewhere in UK (2nd class postage
extra)

ST NICOLAS C.E. AIDED JUNIOR SCHOOL, LOCKS HILL, PORTSLADE
The School enjoys a close relationship with the Parish. Teachers and
Clergy work together to provide a happy and Christian atmosphere in
which learning takes place. The number of children in the School is
limited and parents who would like their seven year old children
admitted should enquire 9-12 months ahead.
